PANE GUTTIAU, owes its name, as well as its unmistakable flavor, to the fact that, traditionally, Sardinian shepherds would drizzle (“guttiare”) olive oil and sprinkle a pinch of salt on their slices of Pane Carasau flatbread before eating it. Two simple ingredients that make the product irresistible.
